Manic Monday!
I have decided to make some huge changes around here. I decided I want to lose 30 pounds this year and get in better shape. That means lots of exercise and eating better. I spent the weekend eating and drinking whatever I felt like having, which was really fun at the time but boy am I paying the price now!!!! This morning it was a Weight Watcher's biscuit. I intended to not have anything else until lunch but that didn't go so well. I did manage to get by with just a small piece of cheese and one cracker for a snack -- less than 100 calories! Fortunately my youngest loves the little pepperoni pizza minis from the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Anytime Selections. They come two servings to a box so we shared those for lunch! Dinners are going to be somewhat normal but there will be no snacking after dinner! No more midnight chips and cheese! :(

Office Max Super Ink Deal 3/14 and 3/15

Office Max is currently running an amazing special on their Office Max brand ink and toner. On March 14 and 15th ONLY and only online, all Office Max brand ink and toner are 50% off! For me, this is huge! I used to use the name brand toner -- best deal I ever found on that was at BJs for $54.99 -- the Office Max brand works just as well for me and it's typically $49.99 -- with this special its only $25.00 per cartridge. I am soooo stocking up!!!
OfficeMax.com/MaxPerks has a lot of free after MaxPerks rebates as well!
What's for Dinner?
We have been taking the challenge that Couponing to Disney issued for a no-dining-out March. Eating out is something we typically used to do at least 3-4 times on the weekend and we would end up getting take out or delivery 1-2 times during the week.
Well, we have been really good this month. I have been trying to plan ahead. Today before we left to do a bunch of errands, I put pork chops in the crock pot. By the time we got home, they were falling-off-the-bone tender. I had some mashed potatoes from the Country Crock sides that were on sale at Publix a couple of weeks ago. My last errand of the day was to pick up some of the Johnson Buddies bath bars at Walmart so I grabbed a loaf of their hot and fresh french bread. Dinner was delicious and it was so nice to come home to a hot meal with little effort at the end of a busy day.
The pork chops were so easy -- put them in the crock pot with some dry onion soup mix and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Turn it on and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Now hubby has leftovers for lunch tomorrow too!

Welcome!!!
Welcome to the first post of my blog! I am really excited! I have many different reasons for starting this. For example, I have always wanted to write, I enjoy sharing deals and information with others, and I need a creative outlet. I hope that you will be patient as this is a learning process for me!
